We went to the grocery store this morning, James and I, to stock up on ammo, we're ready for New Years Eve this year - armed and ready to fight back at those poopie-pants that shoot at us, oh yes we are!! Look out!
James was so pleased, he was like a kid in a candy store "I want some of that, and some of those, and a few of these... oh oh, and that too!" Walking home he had a Cheshire grin on his face the whole way, while me, well, I felt (and probably looked) guilty. Must be the Canadian in me shining through.

Of course once we got home, the first thing James did was run out onto the deck to "try one out" -

have to make sure they work you know.

Oh look they work... and I am deaf!
"Come on Mom, you light one, they're great! Light one, come on... ya know ya wanna!"
(Sad thing is
I do wanna, I think I am just as bad as he is... but don't tell him that! I am trying to set a good example)
Actually I am hoping James will agree to not go to the center of it all - I would like someplace a little quieter this year. We can make our own noise, heaven knows we have enough fire power to blow up the whole of Dresden!
