We took a trip into Frankfurt after a visit to the school, and going to look at two flats today.
It only took us about 20 minutes to get right into the middle of Frankfurt - so close!
It was so refreshing to come walking around a corner, and be greeted by this view; beautiful old buildings with character!
And to see this old church - way cool!
Love it; that's what they are supposed to look like. When the bells started to ring - oh-my-word, it was so amazing... I just love that sound; didn't realize how much I miss it.
Refreshing.
I don't think I would ever get bored, or complacent seeing these buildings all the time; they have so much style, and pzazz; how could anyone not recognize the wonder, and story in each one of them?!
We took a break, from our 'flat hunting break', and stopped at Starbucks for a nice Kaffee und Kuchen, (mustn't get into the habit of doing that too often!) This was the view from our seat in the Starbucks - yes, we sat inside... it's way too picken cold to sit outside!!!
I am frozen, right through to the bones. This is going to take some adjusting...!
More to come as I get photos, and have news - so stay tuned.
