A Few Polish Critters Seen

There are some little critters wandering around here that I do not get to see in Calgary, like this little hedgehog - so cute!  💕
James walks me back to the flat every evening if it is late, and the first night was the first sighting of one of these guys, as he scurried into the bushes.

Then this guy was sliming his was across the sidewalk another evening during the trip home; he is a Spotted Leopard slug, (Limax maximus) also known as the Giant Garden Slug - for a good reason as they can get up to 21cm (8in) long!  👀
Apparently their mating ritual is something to behold... no thnx.

I know this is not a critter, but it is another thing that is cool during our walk back to my flat in the evening, as it only blooms in the evening, finishing by morning - hence the name 4 O'clock Flower, (Mirabilis Jalapa). It has a very pretty blossom which is loaded with fragrance, almost lemony/sweet.        Daytime                                                    Nighttime

Then there was this little guy, sitting inside on the window sill one evening at James' place - which caused quite the reaction from Zuzia! When she saw it, words (which I can not write here) were said exuberantly!   🙀     😹
Then that exact evening, when James and I walked back to the Airbnb, we saw this guy by the front door; he was twice the size of the one at James place. We sent a photo to Zuzia, who was not as thrilled as we were.
The blade you see is James knife, which is not small - that is how big that sucker was!

We also found this little guy in their flat - and for some reason Zuzia was not bothered by him?😹       He was quite pretty.
Now this is what a naughty kitty looks like - Adi was wanting a forbidden feather that was sitting on the shelf,                                                                                                                   which he knew he was not supposed to touch,  ⤹ (he did steal it, of course).

⬊ MeF1 on the other hand, well, yea; this is what she does, in this spot, daily! (Except when she is tormenting Adi of course).

But the cutest critter I have seen so far this trip, by far, is the Wee Percy! Joining the dinner conversation, as always.  🥰
