My Kids Are Awesome!

I had soooo much to get done while I was in Canada for ten days, and the tenants were not helping AT ALL - in fact quite the opposite; they were horrible, and really upset me...!    .\_/.

The kids were great though, and gave up a couple of evenings to drive out to High River with me to help me get the baseboards back on, the house tidied up, and everything!

Stephanie was all constructor efficient - she was totally willing to deal with the tenants in ANY way needed! Passively aggressively of course. Hahahaha!
Thnx Didds!

Matt was good for help, as well as entertainment, as always!         >^_^<
Thnx Mattcee!

James was a fantastic baseboard remover, doing so carefully so as not to damage the walls at all - thnx James!

James also used some of his artistic abilities during the baseboard removal, to make the re-installation easier, by marking the wall and boards to match where they came off/go on.

Some with songs, some with poetry, some with interesting doodles. Made putting it all back together much less boring!
"Bird, bird, bird is the word... have you heard? Bird is the word"

I got all the flooring done, house cleaned up, baseboards on, wiring in the basement gets done Friday, new furnace gets installed on Monday (thank you Stephanie for meeting the furnace guys to let them in!).

I even managed time to spend my last day with Laura, and go to the doctor appointment with Elias for his one year check-up:
He's in the 50% for height,
a bit chubby,
fantastic dexterity,
very strong,
awesome hand eye coordination,
amazing balance!
All summed up, he's perfect.
He was amazing for Dr. Branch.

Great day!!!

Kids really can be okay and helpful when we really need them, can't they!
Everything is looking so good and Dr. Branch seems to be looking good also.
