Here they are, the newest members of our family!
We went in to the Frankfurter Katzenschutzverein e.V., (Frankfurt Cat Protection Society) to check-a-look at their cats.
Once we had a look, we went for coffee to discuss what we saw, then went back to adopt a baby ... or two.
Yaaaaayyyy!!!
I know... I said I would never own a cat with white on it; they both are mostly white! But they are soooo sweet, and Dean fell in love with them right away. What can ya do?
Adopt them of course.
When we got them home, they were quite freaked out - which is understandable when you know their story.
They were adopted less than a year ago, together, but the couple divorced and the kitties ended up back at the cat shelter.
Ten days later, in we walk, put them into a box, and take them to another home! Where's the comfort and stability there?
Well, after a number of hours, and a ton of snuggles, they are feeling right at home; mostly.
I don't think either of them have ever had their claws clipped - and man are they LONG! They are daggers/weapons! /O_O\ Dean and I both have wounds.
I have cut almost all of them on one cat, but the other cat I am not even going to try to cut until tomorrow; she is just way too nervous to do that to her yet. Hopefully we still have furniture when we wake up in the morning...
| May I introduce Herr Fritz, (formerly named Puck); he's a beautiful four year old, with a wonderful personality. |
| And this sweetheart, (hence the name) is Frau Schatz, (formerly named Castar); she's a very sweet five year old lady. |

Gena, they are absolutely lovely! Enjoy the cuddles.

Glad you found some four legged companions for your new place. Some peeps might be a bit confused by the Her instead of Herr though (thinking he's a girl). Just thought I would clarify that for the non German types!
Yes Lynnette, I know, but when it was noticed, I had gone to bed, and correcting it from my phone is too big a bother - so it stayed as such until the next morning when I could get to it.
He is only half a man, so really it's not such a bad thing... hahaha.
