This weekend we are heading to the middle east for a holiday... that's strange, especially when you consider we are going for a drive trip! Sounds weird. There is a first for everything, as they say, this is one.
Yup, going to Muscat, Oman.
Oman is located between the United Arab Emirates and Yemen; beside Saudi Arabia. Muscat is right on the Arabian Sea, (Gulf of Oman) hence the diving.
We hear the diving is very good, so we will go and check-a-look for ourselves.
Now I am used to diving in 30-32 degree water... and this is apparently about 28-29 this time of year. I know that doesn't sound like much of a difference, but when you are diving, you are wet, and you are down under - it does make a difference.
I have not been diving at all since the beginning of June - I will handle the cold just fine... I know I can, I know I can, I know I can!
(I should have bought a thicker wetsuit before we left Singapore)
