Well, I have been to many-many... MANY beaches over the past number of years - however I have to say this is not something I have seen wandering down the beach before.
Have seen many horses; have even seen a donkey or two - but camels?
Nope, that's a first.
Gotta say, didn't look like a comfortable ride, at all! No thnx.
I think one humped camels are for working, (hauling things, pulling things) and two humped camels are for riding; after all, they have two humps, so there's a ready made built in saddle area!

They had muzzles on to keep them from biting; knit ones... yea, don't think that would stop much of a bite. Maybe it was just to stop the spit from landing on you? Hmm, nice.
The one with the blue muzzle on, she had a MAJOR attitude; if you got at all close to her when her master wasn't around she would shove you away with her head - and not softly! And they smelled really bad.
Yea, no thnx.
Did make for a whole afternoon of entertainment!

I've ridden both types of camels and the two-hump variety is a much more comfortable ride. So don't buy one of these babies. Didn't you ride camels in Egypt, or was that just Dean and James?
Jack, that was me and James - not Dean!
It was a two humper, and it was actually quite fun.
Don't remember them smelling so yucky though...
they do look rather regal
A novel way to spend an afternoon on the beach :)
