Ten Truths To Ponder:

  1. Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you grab when in trouble, but it is a "steering wheel" that keeps you on the right path throughout the journey.     (I need to hold that wheel more often)
  2. So why is a car's Windshield so large, and the Rear View Mirror so small? Because our past is not as important as our future; so, look ahead and move on.
  3. Friendship is like a book: it takes years to write, but only a few minutes to burn.      (I've experienced this one first hand; be careful, don't play with matches, friendship is precious)
  4. All things in life are temporary. When things are going well, enjoy it, it won't last forever. When things are going wrong, don't worry, it won't last long either.
  5. Old friends are Gold, and new friends are Diamonds! When you find a Diamond, don't forget the Gold, because to hold a Diamond you need a base of Gold to create something beautiful.
  6. Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, "Relax, sweetheart, it's just a bend, not the end!      (oh-my-word, this is so true)
  7. When God solves your problems, you have faith in His abilities; when God doesn't solve your problems He has faith in your abilities.      (I must have more faith)
  8. A blind person asked St. Anthony: "Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?" He replied: "Yes, losing your vision!"          (I need to focus on the vision...)
  9. When you pray for others, God listens to you and quietly blesses them; when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.       (I am so thankful when people pray for me!)
  10. Worrying does not take away tomorrow's troubles: it takes away today's peace.      (I must practice this)

I read this, liked it, made a few changes, and wrote it here to share with you.
Don't know who wrote the original version, but am thankful to my girlfriend for posting it on fb.
Hope it gave you something to think about too.
