Part Two - The Wedding Part of Our Move...

On the drive from Saskatoon to Waskesiu, (two hours) after the rainbow far off in the distance, we were also blessed with a very pretty sunset.
My pee-pee kitty in a cage was still sitting on my lap wondering what the heck we were doing, and why we had disturbed his previously perfect life?!
When we arrived at our reserved cabin, the kids were there waiting for us - they had driven all the way from Calgary!Whoa, such a long drive; no thnx    O_o

The next morning everyone was up and dressed all beautiful for the Fairytale Wedding.
Stephanie looked so beautiful!

I have never been able to get a good photo of my son and I for some reason.
I have wanted one for many years, and this was an opportunity to accomplish this goal!  ʘ‿ʘ
It worked!

In fact, no only did I get one,but I got two great photographs, which I am VERY pleased with!
Yaaaaay    ◔◡◔        ☞ ☞ ☞

James was dressed up, looking very sharp, but inside he was still James; the kids were very thankful for this fact - they had loads of fun with him, and he with them.
For a guy who hated little kids a number of years ago, he sure is great with them now!    ≧✯◡✯≦

❤ Was an opportunity to take a few good photographs!

It was a beautiful day for a wedding, and a very beautiful location; what bride doesn't want to have the little white country church wedding?
So cute!       ❀‿❀

The church turned out to be a little small for the number of family and friends attending Elenée and Jeremiah's wedding, but once the upper balcony area was filled, it all worked out just fine.
Nice.

Some of the family members flew in from Greece for the wedding.
Theia Popy was there, with her best camera - an i-Pad!  Hahaha - I love it; it worked great!  -‿◠

Theíos Gus was even there; we had not seen him for many years, so it was SO awesome to have a chance to chat with him, and see that he is doing so well.

It was also wonderful to see Uncle Bill.
He may live in Canada, but we had not traveled to Lloydminster for so long, therefore, sadly, we had not seen Uncle Bill and Auntie Debbie since Stephanie and Matt's wedding!
It was tough to see the alzheimers progression, but he was still Uncle Bill inside there.

Always, when Uncle Bill sees Stephanie, his face lights up!  ◠‿◠

I don't know who, or whose, this little guy was, but he was determined he was going to rip this little tree up and out!
By the time an adult told him to stop... they may as well have let him finish the job; the tree was all but finished by this point.   ̃o.O

And then, as if the little white country church wasn't enough: clip/clop/clip/clop, up drove a Percheron horse drawn carriage!
Oh. My. Word!
They were so beautiful... I forgot I was supposed to be paying attention to the bridal party, all my attention was on the horses, I missed the receiving line!
This pair was a mother son, pure Percheron team, each worth between $25,000-$40,000; add to that the cost of their gear, and the waggon = wow.
Just, wow.
See, look at her.
*sigh

Oh yea, back to the wedding:
there they are, loading into the carriage; picture perfect fairy-tail wedding.  '◡'

Beautiful day, at a beautiful location, and a beautiful wedding!

The wedding party really was beautiful,

and all of Elenée's little nieces and nephews did such an amazing job - man were they cute!!  ◕ ‿ ◕❁

The bride was absolutely stunning!

Meanwhile, back at the cabin, Herr Fritz was adjusting to the strange new surroundings, and was relaxing with his favourite toy: Ratt.
"Happy-happy, I have my rat!"   =^.^=

This trip really was hard on him, poor kitty,
ό,ὸ   and we weren't not finished yet...

Dean had to leave earlier than the kids and I, as he had to catch a very early plane to Minnesota; back to school, time to get working on his Phd. again -
one more year.

For our last day/evening together at Waskesiu Lake, the kids and I went into town, wandered around a bit, enjoyed some ice-cream, the lake, and each-others company.

Some enjoyed it a bit more than others, as they ran to a set of muskoka chairs, put there just for them I am sure, giggling the whole time!
Oh my sillies. ^◡^
Our last evening was blessed with a stunning red moon, and some time together by the lake. Then back to the cabins to relax the evening away with Uncle Bill, Auntie Debbie, Cousin Jim and his beautiful family.
Was a nice way to start our new life, back in Canada - The beginning of a New Chapter.
